What are the advantages of getting a 9G visa?

• 9G visa holder may bring his/her families through visa inclusion
• An expat in the Philippines with 9G visa can obtain 1yr, 2yrs or maximum 3yrs work visa 
• 9G visa holder may get a long-term residential lease contract with their landlord by attaching their visa status or iCard copy and allows them to bargain the rent fee. 

•  Whether you are residing outside or inside the Philippines, the first step is to apply for AEP (Alien Employment Permit) in DOLE (Department of Labor & Employment). Your sponsor company may process this in your behalf. 
• Once AEP is approved, the applicant/company can apply to Bureau of Immigration with all the requirements. 
• Once filed, BI will set a hearing, during that day the applicant will be required for “data capturing” or the biometrics procedure, lastly interviewed by BI officer. 
• Lastly, wait for the approval the usual processing time takes between 50 days to 6months, if applied by the sponsor company. However, companies approved by BI can expedite the process from 3-5weeks only.
